We recently had M&J Electrical Works complete a major electrical upgrade at our terrace home in Enmore, including upgrading the property to three-phase power, installing two EV chargers, new power points and LED lighting throughout the house, new bathroom heaters and exhaust fans, and a range of general electrical works — and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. All work was handled with the same level of care and attention to detail. All was neat, tidy, and professionally finished. Inner West terrace homes can be challenging to work on — tight access, older construction, limited pathways for cable runs, and the importance of preserving the character of the home. From day one, M&J approached the project with a huge amount of care and respect for both the property and the build itself. Before starting, they took the time to properly walk through everything with us, discuss different options, explain the process clearly, and make sure the final approach would work both practically and aesthetically. They even spoke with our neighbours to ensure everyone was comfortable and informed throughout the process, which really showed the level of professionalism and consideration they bring to their work. The three-phase power upgrade has made a massive difference for the house and future-proofed it properly, especially with the addition of the two EV chargers. What impressed us most was how non-intrusive the entire installation was. The cable runs were incredibly well hidden and thoughtfully planned out, with obvious effort put into respecting the structure and appearance of the home rather than simply taking the easiest route possible. The workmanship, communication, punctuality, cleanliness, and professionalism were outstanding from start to finish. M&J absolutely delivered across the board. We had Michael come across for a quote recently and took up his offer based on his professional demeanour and positive outlook on what we wanted to do with our place. We also needed someone that was able to deliver on the Electrical work that was prompt and hassle free. The work included replacing all downlights, flushing electrical conduits for all our entertainment system + high-end cables to suit including a replacement of a ceiling fan plus slimline switches/dimmers. Everything was done in a day, as promised. This is rare indeed – an Electrician that could keep to a schedule so that we could move back in thereafter.
